WALT brainstorm ideas
In our group we had to explain how to make a good adventure story. I like adventure stories because they are exciting and sometimes make plot twists.

Summarising

WALT summarise
Today is literacy we wrote what we are good at and then we went around and wrote what other people are good at on their computers. I found it challenging to think of my own things. I enjoyed this activity because you got to share with other people what you think of them.

Onomatopoeia

we are learning to write poems with onomatopoeia.

Splish splosh splash
goes the wavey river

woof woof woof
goes the hungry howling dogs

Boom goes the explosion
in the background
at the hungry and whiney animals
rush to the shelter.

Kepapa Huarakau

Today we made fruit kebabs with instructions in Maori. I liked it because we learnt new words and got to eat. Here are some pictures.

Week 5 Reflection

One thing I have learnt this week is how to speak Maori better, I learnt how to say post of the colours and how to say hello and good morning/good afternoon in lots of different languages.

One thing I have found hard this week is speaking Maori as I find the sounds tricky.

Something I have enjoyed is learning different languages because it is fun and tricky to do. I enjoy things that are tricky.

One thing to work on next week is speaking more languages because it is interesting and just in case I meet someone who speaks a different language I can talk to them.

WALT different camera angles. We went outside and filmed our video and then edited it on WeVideo. I liked this activity because we got to act out fighting each other.

Lost in the Bush- Reading Week 3

WALT ask questions. We had to read the story "Lost in the Bush" and then we wrote thick and thin questions. I enjoyed this activity because the story is a cartoon.
